The surveillance cameras that stalk us on the street, at work, in department stores, the cameras that photograph us, point at us, follow our tracks, scan us … are they a major threat or are they for our own good? Are they an intrusion into our private life or do they protect it?
If you feel hounded, keep watch on the surveillance. Make its invisible mechanisms visible. And if, in contrast, you see it as a necessary condition for life in society, show that with images, if possible.
