The exhibition on your mobile
GLOBAL SCREEN VIRTUAL
Global Screen proposes a virtual visit through a landscape where users can move, play and discover for themselves the thematic sections that make up the exhibition: history, politics, sport, advertising, excess, surveillance and play. This world constitutes a metaphor of the elements that make up the physical exhibition, materialised in two infinite and contrasting fields: the viewpoint and the counterpoint. In the viewpoint, interacting in each section, users can discover videos, texts and links that allow them to make deeper inroads into the exhibition's contents. In the counterpoint, videos sent in by contributors will be shown.
The other side
The Other Side app is designed to be used in the augmented reality section of Global Screen, an exhibition organised by the Barcelona Centre for Contemporary Culture (CCCB). Use this app to discover what a series of everyday gallery objects hide from view as you wander around the room and enter this digital, yet very present, on-screen world.
Here you can download the markers from the exhibition as a .png file. Some, such as Too Late Fire Extinguisher, CCTV, The Box and Information Overdoser, are designed to interact with objects within the exposition space, but Baby 3.0, and Dictator's Corner work just sticking the marker on any wall, The Observer Observed works best stuck above you on a ceiling and with Just a Reminder you should place it on a friend's chest.
